Inertia Factor
Resistance to change within a system determines how quickly a new policy or investment shows results. When feedback delay is high, the data received today is actually a measurement of an action taken weeks or months ago. This misalignment makes it difficult to link cause and effect with any degree of certainty.

Oscillation Risk
Tendency to make further adjustments before the first one has taken effect leads to wild swings in performance. If feedback delay is not accounted for, the founder might see no change and apply a second, larger correction. This often results in the system overshooting the target and requiring an equal and opposite reaction later.
Temporal Limit
Boundary of the problem is reached when the delay becomes longer than the window for useful action. Once feedback delay exceeds this point, the measurement is effectively historical and cannot be used for real-time control. This state requires a shift to predictive modeling rather than reactive adjustment.
